Future Lithic Reduction is an installation and a performance reflecting on the idea of prehistoric gynecocracy. The hypothesis of a political and religious government by prehistoric women is based on archaeological artefacts studied from the 19th century until their reappropriation by ecofeminists in the 1970s. Built around historical and theoretical material, Future Lithic Reduction is a minimalist journey through time and a sensitive, embodied experience of the past.

Future Lithic Reduction est une installation et une performance traversée par l’idée de la gynécocratie préhistorique. L’hypothèse du gouvernement politique et religieux par les femmes de la préhistoire se fonde sur des artefacts archéologiques étudiées depuis XIXe siècle jusqu’à leur réappropriation par les écoféministes dans les années 1970. Avec un matériel historique et théorique, Future Lithic Reduction est un voyage minimaliste dans le temps et une expérience sensible et incarnée du passé.
